Enlist before IAE so 50,000 UEC is already on the account

STAR-HBP4-QP46

Enlist on official RSI (code pre-filled) Star Citizen referral code guide

Standard new-player bonus: 50,000 UEC. Any valid STAR-XXXX-XXXX code grants the same amount. Rules: official Referral Program FAQ.

RSI has not announced IAE 2956 dates (as of November 4, 2026). The last published IAE Free Fly, IAE 2955, ran November 20 through December 3, 2025 (RSI Comm-Link).

What fan trackers expect (not official): Community trackers built from Evocati test builds list November 13 to 30 at New Babbage, with the RSI Galaxy and Anvil Liberator as headliners. RSI has not confirmed any of it. Official dates will be on the RSI Comm-Link.

What IAE is

The Intergalactic Aerospace Expo is the annual ship show. IAE moves between landing zones. IAE 2955 was at Orison, and earlier expos were held at New Babbage on microTech. Recent years paired the expo with a Free Fly, so people without a game package could download the game and fly loaner ships for the length of the event. Manufacturer halls rotate, and RSI often offers free rentals of ships on display.

IAE is not the same thing as a normal patch, and it is not Squadron 42. Day of the Vara 2956 (October 21 through November 9, 2026) is a separate in-game holiday for people who can already play. A broader look at free access is on the Free Fly page.

Make the account before it starts

Free Fly is when a lot of new RSI accounts get created. The referral field is easy to skip in that rush. A code such as STAR-HBP4-QP46 can only be added at signup or within 24 hours after, from the user icon (top right) and the code box at the bottom of the account summary panel. Enlisting now attaches the 50,000 UEC new-account bonus before the event. Steps: create a Star Citizen account.

RSI sometimes adds an event referral reward on top of that bonus, often a ship for both players, when the new player buys a Game Package or spends $40 during the event. Nothing like that is posted for IAE 2026 yet. Check the Referral Program page once the expo is live. The standing $40 rule for a referrer's Recruitment Point is separate and is explained on the how to use a Star Citizen referral code.

Ships

IAE is where RSI shows flight-ready ships and ships still in production. RSI has not published the 2026 manufacturer list, so the rentable hulls are not known yet. Evocati testers on October 28 were walking a New Babbage hall build with flight-ready RSI ships already placed. Creators expect the RSI Galaxy on the floor. They are less sure the Anvil Liberator makes it. The Banu Merchantman is the name they attach to IAE 2027, not to a flyable ship this year. A hall layout can change before the doors open. The running list is on leaks. For what you can fly in the current alpha, use the ship guide. A referral code does not include a ship. The public game package is the First Flight Pack (Aurora Mk II), covered on starter packs.

IAE 2026 FAQ

RSI has not announced dates yet. IAE has run in late November in recent years. IAE 2955 ran November 20 through December 3, 2025. Fan trackers list November 13 to 30 at New Babbage. RSI has not confirmed that window.

Yes. Enlist now with referral code STAR-HBP4-QP46 so the 50,000 UEC bonus is already attached. A code can only be added at signup or within 24 hours after.

Sometimes. RSI occasionally runs event referral rewards, often a ship for both players, when the new player buys a Game Package or spends $40 during the event. Check the Referral Program page during the event. Nothing extra is announced for IAE 2026 yet.

That date comes from fan trackers reading test builds, not from RSI. As of November 4, 2026, RSI has not announced IAE 2956. Making your account now with referral code STAR-HBP4-QP46 costs nothing and means the code is already attached if Free Fly opens.
