Is there a Star Citizen referral code for 2026?

Yes. The official RSI referral program is still active in 2026. New players enter a STAR-XXXX-XXXX code such as STAR-HBP4-QP46 at enlistment for 50,000 aUEC.

Did the 2026 referral bonus change?

The standard new-player bonus is still 50,000 aUEC. Extra limited-time kits or ships can stack during CIG promotions. Always confirm current extras on robertsspaceindustries.com.

Do I need a new code each year?

No. Any valid STAR-XXXX-XXXX code works. Year-specific pages exist because people search that way; the code format and enlist field did not change for 2026.

Standard new-player bonus: 50,000 aUEC. Any valid STAR-XXXX-XXXX code grants the same amount. Rules: official Referral Program FAQ.

What is current in 2026

The Star Citizen referral program is still the official way to start with extra in-game currency. In 2026, a valid code such as STAR-HBP4-QP46 still grants the standard 50,000 aUEC new-player bonus when you create your account on robertsspaceindustries.com.

Code format is unchanged: STAR-XXXX-XXXX.
You enter it on the enlist form, or add it within about 24 hours under Account → Referral Program.
A qualifying game package is still typically about $40 USD or more for the referrer to count (CIG rules apply).
Limited-time extras (kits, ships) still appear around Free Fly, DefenseCon, Foundation Festival, Ship Showdown, and IAE - they stack on top of the 50,000 aUEC, they do not replace it. As of October 11, 2026, no extra kit promo is advertised as live. Alpha 4.10.2 (RSI Discovery Month, live October 9) is not a Free Fly and is not an extra referral kit. There is no CitizenCon in 2026. The next widely expected public Free Fly is IAE in November (dates TBA).
Squadron 42 opened Steam wishlisting on October 10, 2026 (planned Q2 2027). A 2026 referral code does not include that campaign.

Step-by-step field location, mistakes, and the full FAQ live on the referral & redeem guide. This page is the 2026 snapshot: what still works this year if you searched for a dated code.

Why people search “referral code 2026”

CIG does not issue a new public “code of the year.” Searchers add the year because they want a working code and current rules, not a 2022 screenshot. You do not need a different code on January 1. Any valid player code - including STAR-HBP4-QP46 - is a 2026 referral code.

How to use a 2026 referral code

Copy STAR-HBP4-QP46 or open the official enlist link so the field is pre-filled.
Create the RSI account (handle, email, password, date of birth). Confirm the Referral Code field before submit.
Finish signup only on robertsspaceindustries.com.
When you are ready to play, buy a starter pack that meets current program rules.

Creating the account during a Free Fly still needs the code. Free access and the referral bonus are separate.
